The Inner Centre of Inspiration and Truth is a New Thought Study group and Empowerment Centre founded by Rev. Cheryl Hernandez in 2003. We are affiliated to the Universal Foundation for Better Living whose founder is the Reverend Dr. Jonnie Colemon-Nedd. Our headquarters is in Chicago U.S.A.
Our Vision
ICIT is a centre that develops and supports people to do ministry efficiently and effectively; a centre that teaches people to develop and balance the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical aspects of their lives.
Mission of ICIT
To empower people to consciously create for themselves the abundant life which is their birthright by teaching them to love, serve, heal, fellowship and apply in all aspects of their lives, truth principles as espoused by Jesus Christ and practiced by New Thought Christians.
Our Aim
At ICIT our objective is to teach people how to:
- See It — By finding and tuning in to our own spiritual centre, we receive revelations of Truth from our Divine Spirit within us. We call these revelations “I see it moments” and they are represented by our symbol, the spiritual eye.
- Be It — By being consciously aware that we are spiritual beings having a human experience and living from that awareness.
- Live It — By applying the practical techniques of New Thought principles to everyday affairs, we will begin to live the abundant life of which Jesus spoke.
Rev. Cheryl Hernandez is the Founder and Director of the Inner Centre of Inspiration and Truth (ICIT pronounced ‘I see it’). The centre was launched in 2003 in East Trinidad.
